From a very early age, Jennifer has enjoyed a wide range of sport and adventure, and thus, a wide range of injuries. With a background as a competitive gymnast, dancer, blackbelt, avid hiker, climber, and cyclist, she can sympathize with all manner of aches and pains. Pilates has been the one activity that has helped to mitigate the pain and rehabilitate from the injuries while simultaneously strengthening for a quick recovery and greater endurance.
With 20 years of teaching experience, Jen has worked with people from elite athletes and dancers to first-time movers and loves getting into the detail of the work, believing a good instructor can be creative in tailoring each person's experience in the studio.
Jennifer received her Pilates certification in from Long Beach Dance Conditioning under Marie-Jose Blom, GYROTONIC / GYROKINESIS certifications under Lisa Marie Goodwin and Alicia Head, and Level 2 GYROTONIC certification under Karen Mullen and
Chloë Flores earned her certification in Advances in Pilates Techniques from Marie-Jose Blom-Lawrence at Long Beach Dance Conditioning in 2006. While training at LBDC, she also completed a specialization in Fusion Pilates™ for Pregnancy and Post Pregnancy Pilates with Master Pilates Instructor, Jennifer Gianni.
Alex was introduced to Pilates at a young age and was re-introduced after a knee injury when she used Pilates to supplement traditional rehabilitation, very pleased with the results, she decided to train as an instructor. Studying with Marie- Jose Blom, she received her certification through Long Beach Dance Conditioning in 2006. Always eager to keep learning, she has continued her studies in a variety of bodywork techniques including Yoga, Feldenkrais, Yamuna Body Rolling, and exercise anatomy. Guided by the individual needs of her clients, Alex uses safe and effective training to assist her clients in achieving their goals.
Jillian is a professional dancer who originally found Pilates to help her with hip and lower back pain in 2000. The Pilates method helped her manage pain through learning proper alignment and breaking down the bio mechanics of the body in accordance to healthy movement patterning. This helped her body heal, but also complimented her dance technique and ability to perform. Because Pilates works with anatomy, it is a direct and efficient way to holistically train the body to optimally function in whatever way desired. She became fully certified through Balanced Body with emphasis on special conditioning and anatomy in 2009 and has enjoyed teaching ever since
Teresa has been teaching Pilates since 2008. She trained in NYC at the Kane School of Core Integration with Kelly Kane and at Pilates Chicago: The Center for Conscious Conditioning, with Jennifer Goldman Zumman. She fell in love Pilates because it makes sense: its logical and specific. Its focus on creating ideal functional movement patterns in the body was very impressive and empowering to her. She has stayed in love with Pilates because at its "core"...Pilates just makes you feel awesome.

Sarah Pigion was first introduced to Pilates in her dance training as part of her Musical Theatre career. After injury, Pilates helped Sarah to keep dancing, run a marathon, and support her, at times, overly active lifestyle. While living in NYC, Sarah completed comprehensive Pilates certification through Balanced Body University at Manhattan’s Movements Afoot Pilates Studio under Lesley Powell. Transition in her music career brought Sarah to Los Angeles, where she happily joined the Pilates Eagle Rock haven:) Pilates’ ability to improve alignment, body awareness, strength, and physical expression have motivated her to delve deeper into her study of body conditioning, and share it as an instructor.
Kristin has delved deeply into the study of different holistic healing methods for over six years now and brings effective tools to her clients that become their ally in creating the life they really want. Whether it’s stress, fatigue, and poor health or relationship conflict and limiting beliefs in the way of your goals, Kristin has powerful tools to assist you in overcoming any obstacle on your path. Her holistic approach includes Qi Gong, Access Bars and Reiki Healing, Life Coaching, and Feng Shui. Qi Gong is a powerful way to build life force energy for pilates and sports, Reiki and Access Bars healing to rejuvinate, and coaching to reach your goals and beyond. She also attended a two year program based on the body-mind connection and involved dance/movement therapy so she has a unique way of coaching and healing that recognises the deep connection between the body and mind and also the connection to our environment with Feng Shui. Jackie first experienced Pilates in the dance program from University of Hawai'i. Right away she noticed the improved body connections she felt when she applied them to her dancing and after that, she was hooked. Over time, the increased strength, flexibility and awareness allowed her to move more efficiently in all aspects of her life. Pilates also helped her to being more proactive about injury prevention and rehabilitation. This led her to study at Long Beach Dance Conditioning and completed her Pilates certification. She is also a GYROKINESIS ® apprentice under Alicia Head.
