One-on-one with an instructor working on all the equipment to tailor a program for your body's specific needs. These sessions are scheduled by appointment 7 days a week and provide the most individual attention of all the options. This is the best way to start as everyone has different strengths and imbalances.
Two or three people share a session with one instructor who guides participants through the workout using the Pilates equipment. This is a good format for someone who has some experience at our studio and is ready to move into a group setting. If you have someone in mind you’d like to share the session with, great! If not, we will try to set you up with someone of similar experience and availability.
This all-level group class provides a complete workout using your own body’s resistance. Props such as therabands, physioballs, etc. are used to enhance the work. The class is challenging, but you are encouraged to pay attention to your body and rest or challenge yourself as you see fit. The instructor doesn’t simply demonstrate the exercises or count the repetitions, but will keep an eye on everyone and provide some hands-on cues and adjustments as necessary to make sure you get the most out of your workout. Mat classes are a great option for someone with a little knowledge of the basics.
No appointment is necessary, but please arrive early to get organized as space is limited. Bring your own mat or rent one from the studio for $1.

No appointment necessary for the classes, just bring a mat and your bod!
GYROTONIC® methodology allows users to stretch and strengthen muscles, while simultaneously stimulating and strengthening connective tissues in and around the joints of the body. The exercises offer complete freedom of movement. Exercises are performed on the Professional Pulley Tower, and the system is fully adjustable and can meet the needs of many people with varying body types and levels of strength. The even and constant resistance in the handle unit and pulley tower completely eliminates the jarring that takes place at the beginning and end of exercises performed on conventional exercise equipment, when many injuries occur. The circular, spiraling and undulating movements that characterize the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® help to increase the functional capacity of the spine, contributing to a spherical and three-dimensional awareness, resulting in increased balance and equilibrium.
All hour long GYROTONIC® sessions are scheduled one-on-one with an instructor.
GYROKINESIS® exercises allow one to work on the entire body through seven natural elements of spinal movement: forward, backward, left side, right side, left twist, right twist and circular, as well as all other joint articulation. This approach systematically and gently works the joints and muscles through rhythmic and fluid movements.
A typical GYROKINESIS® class begins seated on low stools where participants mobilize the spine through a series of arching, curling, bending, twisting and spiraling movements. These same movement patterns are expanded to release the hip, knee, hamstring, quadriceps and so on, in all possible directions: front, back, twisting and turning. All GYROKINESIS® classes, from beginner to advanced, encompass not only sitting but also laying and standing positions.
This is a group class, no appointment necessary. Please arrive on time to get organized. Bring a mat or rent one at the studio for $1.

DR. NOELLE NESE
Noelle was born and raised in Pasadena, California. She received her BA from UCLA in 1994 and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland College of Chiropractic in 1998. She has been self employed for thirteen of the sixteen years she has been in practice. She practiced exclusively in Eagle Rock before recently adding a second location in Rolling Hills Estates.
At the age of twelve, she injured her back during a dance rehearsal. Later that same year she was in a life-threatening accident that sealed her love of chiropractic. After Noelle was deemed medically healed, she continued to feel unwell. Her chiropractor was the one who made the difference. Headaches, leg pain and low energy quickly faded away. It was then that she knew what she wanted to do with the rest of her life.
She has studied Natural Healing, Network Spinal Analysis and Upledger Cranio-Sacral therapy. She is Webster certified and has taken additional classes in Eastern Diagnostic Techniques, aromatherapy and Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, with additional training in Thyroid Disorders. She stands apart from other chiropractors in her comprehensive and individualized approach to each patient’s body. Her goal is to assist in adapting to whatever challenges patient’s may be experiencing. This is done through the use of homeopathic remedies, nutrition, exercise, spinal alignment, bio-energetic techniques and aromatherapy.
She currently resides in the South Bay with her husband, Jeff, their identical twin sons and their golden doodle, Ruby.

What our clients are saying:
"I love Pilates Eagle Rock!
There is always ample parking and when you enter, it's clear where the sign in desk is. It's also clear where I can put my purse, keys and shoes. It's such a pet peeve to walk into a new space and feel lost. Did I mention it's affordable and not snooty!? There are all shapes, sizes and ages here! it's not just for the skinny-already-in-shapers! "
"Prompted from positive reviews online 4 years ago- I decided to try Pilates Eagle Rock for an introductory session. After trying sessions at other LA studios, I was stunned at my instructors level of knowledge and insight to my body- after my first session. All of the Pilates Eagle Rock instructors are extremely skilled in everything from injury rehabilitation to basic movements. Jennifer's mat and reformer classes are unlike any other in LA. I often hear myself using the phrase, "wow, I didn't know I had muscles there". I believe my fitness level and overall body awareness has vastly improved over my time there and I credit it to Jennifer and her experts!"
