Jacqueline Hinton is the owner of Pilates Eagle Rock, a boutique Pilates studio centered on thoughtful movement, personalized instruction, and community connection. With nearly 20 years of experience, Jackie works with a wide range of clients, from dancers and athletes to everyday movers, helping them build strength, improve alignment, and move with greater ease and confidence.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Jackie began her career as a dancer, earning a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin before relocating to Los Angeles to work professionally in film, television, and stage. In 2006, she completed her Pilates certification through the PhysicalMind Institute under Maria Leone at Bodyline LA, one of the earliest Pilates education programs in the U.S. PhysicalMind’s integration of classical Pilates principles with modern movement science continues to inform her teaching today.

Jackie joined Good Body Pilates Studio in Santa Monica in 2011 and became its owner in 2023. Under her leadership, the studio has been recognized as Santa Monica’s Most Loved Pilates Studio in both 2024 and 2025, received a Sustainable Quality Award for Economic Development, and served as a sponsor of Wellness & Waves at the Santa Monica Pier, a community wellness event celebrating movement and local business.

In January 2026, Jackie acquired Pilates Eagle Rock, drawn to its strong neighborhood roots and long-standing presence in the community. Her focus is on honoring what makes the studio special while bringing consistency, clarity, and high-quality instruction to every session.

Jackie’s teaching style emphasizes meeting clients where they are, offering clear guidance, supportive challenge, and a steady path toward feeling stronger and moving better. Whether in a private session, duet, or small group class, she creates an environment where clients feel supported, capable, and encouraged to progress.
In addition to her studio work, Jackie is the founder and CEO of Good Citizen, the first Pilates lifestyle brand to introduce personal Pilates loops to the market. She has been featured in British Vogue, Pilates Style Magazine, Pilates Anytime, and Voyage LA, but her greatest focus remains the experience and results of the people she teaches.
At Pilates Eagle Rock, Jackie is committed to creating a grounded, welcoming studio where movement is intentional, effective, and sustainable.
